Diesel Kids is the children’s collection from famous denim brand Diesel, “for successful living”

Diesel is an Italian fashion label best known for its denim and casual apparel, founded in the late 1970s by Renzo Rosso. Today, the collection “for successful living” includes apparel, shoes, and accessories for kids.

We sat down with Brave Kid, the manufacturer of the Diesel Kids collection and a leader in the sector, to ask a few questions about the latest Diesel Kids collection and what makes it unique.

How does Diesel Kids manage to capture the essence of the brand? Which elements of the adult collection are also present in the children’s one?

For Diesel Kids, jeans symbolize perfect childhood, where a little used effect is not only expected, but also desired. As in the adult lines, innovative fabrics and designs are the key to success.

How important is comfort in the children’s collection compared to the adult collection?

Comfort is an essential element in children’s collections, the shapes and fabrics are carefully chosen to ensure comfort and functionality without sacrificing style.

And how do you manage to combine comfort and style?

The brand’s proposal combines resistance and comfort with an inimitable design, while the shapes and colors are inspired by the imaginary world of boys and guided by three main themes, which evolve from season to season: rock, military and denim.

In terms of sizes and wearability, is there anything in particular to keep in mind with Diesel Kids?

The Diesel kids collections offer the New Born (0-36 months) and Baby (0-36 months) lines, as well as an original and exclusive product offer—not a simple adult collection copy—for the Junior line (4-16 years) which includes ready-to-wear and accessories. In the winter collections there are skiwear capsules while in the summer there are beachwear capsules.

What materials do you mainly use for your collections, and how do you select them?

Mainly the materials used are jersey and fleece, but our core material is denim in both the canvas and Jogg Jeans versions to ensure greater comfort and a better fit.

Unconventional / Denim / Contemporary

How would you like children to feel wearing Diesel Kids clothes?

Today children want to be cool in their own way: active, full of enthusiasm and desire, free to explore the world. For this reason Diesel Kid has a unique identity.
