Cutler and Gross is a British luxury eyewear brand founded in 1969 by Graham Cutler and Tony Gross. In 1971 they opened their first studio in London offering eclectic and creative handmade frames and over time also introducing eyeglasses. The 1386 model is the flagship design of postmodern eyewear. Its square-shaped acetate frame takes inspiration from the American designs of the 1950s. The internal and external milling gives the glasses the distinctive look that characterizes the Cutler and Gross approach.
