The Change by Fessura is an innovative modular sneaker system designed by Karim Rashid, eliminating traditional industrial construction methods. The shoe features an interchangeable elastic upper band (1 meter long) that threads through slots in the white sole, assembling in just 60 seconds without machinery, adhesives, or stitching. Constructed from recyclable materials, this eco-conscious design reduces CO2 emissions by at least 50 percent compared to conventional footwear.
