This Maison Margiela skirt combines a striking trompe l'oeil technique with contemporary tailoring. The piece features a satin-effect polyester body with a constructed denim insert at the waist that mimics traditional jeans—a clever inside-out aesthetic punctuated by the house's signature four-stitch emblem. A hook and zip closure, five functional pockets, and a raw-cut hem with topstitched band complete the deconstructed silhouette. Layer the sculptural A-line over basics for conceptual edge.
